With the success ofElden Ring‘s latest DLC,Shadow of the Erdtree, it seems like fans have raised their expectations for a future DLC. A fan recently asked the community if they would like to see a DLC that primarily focuses on Outer Gods in the game as fans have never got to know much about them apart from their mentions throughout the lore ofElden Ring.

However, many players feel like the mysterious elements of these Outer Gods are the reason why players find them so fascinating, so many are convinced that a DLC focusing on them would definitely ruin it.
Elden Ring Fans Don’t Want A DLC Focused On Outer Gods
A post on the r/EldenRing subreddit has suggested that the next DLC forElden Ringcould focus on Outer Gods such as The Formless Mother, The Frenzied Flame, and The Sealed God of Scarlet Rot.

The community claims that the the only reason why players find Outer Gods fascinating is because they know so less about them. These characters will lose their mystique the moment players learn more about them.
Outer Gods are mentioned throughoutElden Ringbut they do not appear to manifest physical forms within the Lands Between and instead influence the events of the Lands Between in various ways.
