However, there was also a time when Dwayne had to re-think his decision to back Rogan after the popular podcaster was called out for repeatedly using racial slurs in some of his old videos.

But back in 2022, times were pretty anti-Rogan, with numerous fans and people calling him out for his allegedly misinformed COVID-19 comments on his podcast. When Rogan defended his comments,Dwayne Johnsoneven supported him.

However, things seem to have calmed down since Dwayne Johnson recently appeared on the Joe Rogan podcast, about a year after the incident.

While Dwayne Johnson withdrew support for Joe Rogan, Rogan in a video accused the actor of using steroids and asked him to come clean (viaNew York Post). However, everything seems to be okay ever since Rogan apologized for his usage of racial slurs (viaEntertainment Weekly).

The two even revealed how they had worked out together during Rock’s latest appearance on theJoe Rogan Podcast, despite Rogan’s earlier accusation of theBlack Adamstar using steroids to get ‘big’. Over the course of the three hours, Rock got candid about a lot of things, from his father to his wrestling career.

Seems like cancel culture doesn’t always work in Hollywood, for even the fans and netizens appeared to have moved on from the controversy.
