During an interview with@KevinMcCarthyTV, Pattinson revealed that the final two punches that Batman launches at the semi-conscious guy, wasn’t in the original script. According to the actor, he added that change and tweaked the dialogue to say“I’m vengeance”instead of“I’m Batman”.
I wanted to say it as the guy is losing consciousness so it goes…into his dreams…I really want his future to be really, really damaged.
Naturally, any sane criminal would run for their lives if they encountered a Bat costume-wearing nutjob who makes the city safe (and looks cool while doing it). It’s only fair that the film earned rave reviews and critical acclaim for the world.
