Game of Thronesboasted an assemblage of master-class acting with its cast consisting mostly of highly respected actors in the industry, and Emilia Clarke knew she was going to learn a lot from these veterans.

The HBO series introduced many characters that left a lasting impact on the audience, but no one was more astonishing than the Dowager Lady of Highgarden, Olenna Tyrell. Played by the late Diana Rigg, the matriarch of House Tyrell exuded confidence within and beyond the screen.

Diana Rigghad a very illustrious career on stage and screen, gaining worldwide fame in the 1960s and eventually revitalizing her stardom when she starred as Olenna Tyrell inGame of Thrones. Emilia Clarkeonly had a brief scene with Rigg but considered it a very seminal moment in her career.
