Is Dept. Q Renewed for Season 2? Status Details of the Matthew Goode Show

My Achilles’ heel for a lot of my life was that nobody saw me as a storyteller, that they saw me as a white guy with dark hair who was just a game show host. And that in terms of my own self-image was the thing that could gut me. It was like a kidney punch.

He was set on leaving after Season 20 of the show when CBS’s Leslie Moonves took matters into her own hands and asked him to take a break. He did take a break and returned feeling renewed and motivated. Over time, his role expanded to being an executive producer and the showrunner of the show.
