Tom Hardy is arguably one of the ultimate tough guys in the entertainment industry, never hesitating to do what needs to be done and saying what he wants to say without caring about the outcome. To say the least, after coming across all the antics he has pulled over the years throughout his tenure as an actor in Hollywood, one might as well accept him to be a real-life tough guy.

And yet, when he came down to meet the legendary hip hop populizer, Eminem, even he couldn’t help but feel like an idiot in front of him. Hardy just happened to pop up to meet the GOAT rapper right when he was backstage, preparing for his performance, and the singer’s reaction to meeting him made him realize that he actually shouldn’t have been there in the first place.
Tom Hardy Felt “Sorry” for Eminem After Their Awkward Encounter
WhileTom Hardyis recognized as the ultimate no-nonsense guy, it seems likeThe Real Slim Shadyjust may have passed the bar in that category. This comes amidst the actor’s confession of how the rapper cum songwriter cum record producer greeted him with a truly deadpanned reaction when he went to meet him backstage before his performance in a concert.
Talking to DJ Whoo Kid on hisWHOO’S House Podcast, theVenomactor shared the same, saying:

When I went to his concert, I felt sorry for him because it felt like I got ushered to his dressing room backstage to say hello and he had to take a photo with me. I felt like a real d**k. [Chuckles] You know what I mean?
Apparently, as much of a nice guy as he may be, theWithout Mesinger wasn’t really in the mood to fool around at that point as he was prepping and firing himself up for the concert. That said, Hardy’s popping up out of the blue to meet him must have seemingly felt like an intrusion to him, thus garnering that deadpanned reaction from the GOAT rapper.

Continuing to explain, Hardy said aboutEminem:
He’s nice, but he had to go on stage. You know what I mean? So, it was like, he’s prepping to do his job. And then some idiot like me comes in and was like, ‘Hey!’ He’s like, [pulls a deadpanned expression] Just deadpanned me! [Laughs] I was like, ‘Okay.’ Now is not the time, we’ll save this for another time.
“You’ll leave the theatre buzzing about what’s to come”: Sony Has Outdone Itself as Tom Hardy Gives the Best Venom Movie With The Last Dance
As hilarious as this is,theHoudinisingerreally made it clear that he couldn’t care less about who Hardy was, giving him“the look”while meeting him even though his songVenomwas used in the actor’s titular anti-hero movie that same year. But what’s even more comical than this are all the reactions fans had to the rapper just being his no-nonsense self around Hardy.
Fans React to Eminem Being Non-Apologetic While Meeting Tom Hardy
Of course,Hardytaking it all as a joke after being sidelined by theLose Yourselfsinger with his iconic deadpanned look is as hilarious as it could get. That said, fans are having the time of their lives as they enjoy just how awkward this encounter between two of Hollywood’s toughest and no-nonsense guys around turned out to be, especially for the actor.
Taking toX, here’s what they have to say about the same:

They both seem like nice guys. I love that Hardy is aware the man was about to do his job. Hardy just seems so down to earth.
Well, for what it’s worth, Hardy may have played Venom, but Eminem has proven he’s the real Slim Shady! With a single, piercing stare, the real Slim Shady sent theVenomactor slithering back, reminding everyone that when it comes to being unflinchingly oneself, he continues to remain the undisputed champion.
