Charles Dance is known for his portrayal of Tywin Lannister inGame of Thrones, the patriarch of House Lannister. I had no idea where it was going to go. None of us had any idea that it was going to be the most successful television series ever made… I still had no idea that it would become this charming monster.
When describing Tywin Lannister, he toldEmpire: “I thought of him more as unlikable… He’s a misogynist, not very pleasant. But he did what he did for the good of his family. And, finally, for the good of his position.” The head of the House Lannister is indeed one of the most compelling antagonists in the series.
