Jonathan Majors, who was found guilty of assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, continues to face setbacks. Following the guilty verdict, Marvel Studios fired him from being the face of MCU’s next big baddie, Kang the Conqueror. Not just Marvel, he continues to get dropped by other of his projects lined up, including Dennis Rodman’s movie, titled,48 Hours In Vegas.

The former Marvel actor was found guilty of two misdemeanor counts of harassment and assault filed against him by his ex-girlfriend stemming from a March 2023 incident. That led Disney, who owns Marvel Studios to pull out his film,Magazine Dreamsfrom its December release. Now, reports suggest that he has also been let go from his lead role in the upcoming biopic.

Varietyhas confirmed thatJonathan Majorsis no longer associated with playing the lead role of NBA legend, Dennis Rodman in the upcoming movie,48 Hours in Vegas. CNN, which first reported the news, revealed that the studio has already returned the project to its producers to locate a new partner for the biopic.

The outlet reported that the producers, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Aditya Sood are on a hunt for another company without Majors involved to produce the project.

Dennis Rodman’s biopic was initially announced in 2021 to focus on his two-day Las Vegas trip during the Bulls’ 1998 postseason. The NBA legend was set to be executively producing the project.

Lionsgate’s Nathan Kahane toldCBS Sports,

This movie takes you on an unforgettable ride with the myth, the legend, and also the man that Dennis is, behind everything you think you know.”

Bulls head coach, Phil Jackson revealed that he allowed the Bulls forward to take a short break amid the NBA Finals. InThe Last Dance, Michael Jordan revealed that he did not agree with Jackson’s decision.Later on, Rodman infamously didn’t come back leading the coach and Jordan to visit Vegas to retrieve the former themselves.

While the project continues to find its new company, theCreed IIIactor faces a major blow from his lined-up projects. Meanwhile, he maintains that he is innocent as he is set toreturn to court for sentencing on July 20, 2025.
