2024 has not gone as Nicki Minaj would have wanted it to. TheSuper Basssinger’s Pink Friday 2 World Tour was expected to be a sensation. But right when she was in the European leg of the Tour, she seems to have been caught in a pickle, one which will be hard to break out of.

Beginning on 1st March, 2024 in Oakland, with her first Concert Tour performance in over five years, The Pink Friday 2 World Tour was all set to enthrall fans across three continents. The North American leg of the Tour went off without a hitch, with the likes of Drake and Tyga joining hands with her at times.

Just when it was all going uphill, Minaj has stumbled across a boulder that could prove difficult to deal with – her (not yet officially confirmed) arrest in Amsterdam. And that too when she was Live on Instagram.

Nicki Minaj commenced her Tour in Europe with a concert in Amsterdam. She is now slated to perform in Manchester, England at Co-Op Live this Saturday and at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on June 2nd. But just when things were going to get busy, she has been ‘arrested’ in Amsterdam for allegedly carrying drugs.

The revelation was made after videos of theBarbie Worldrapper being asked to board a police van went viral. Her Instagram Live video is being shared by fans online in huge numbers. After all, it is a disturbing video. The clip shows Minaj in conversation with a police official who soon informs her of the fact that she is under arrest for carrying drugs, something she explicitly denied a number of times in the video itself. That wasn’t the end though.

As it turns out, theLast Time I Saw Yourapper’s luggage was checked after it had been loaded on the plane. That is when she was informed that all of it would have to be offloaded. In another (but related) video, she can be seen in a conversation with an official who instructs her to go inside the police van.

In the video, Nicki Minaj can be seen emphatically denying that she was carrying drugs. The 41-year-old also raised the point that she wanted her lawyer there. Though there is no concrete word about what is happening out there, people can hear the police claiming that she is was“under arrest.”
