Kristen Stewart confessed getting jealous of her co-star on the set of Rose Glass’Love Lies Bleeding, an erotic thriller film, which forced her to do the exact opposite of what her character was supposed to do. She plays Lou, a gym manager who falls in love with Katy O’Brian’s Jackie, a bodybuilder.
Stewart rose to international fame for playing Bella Swan in theTwilightmovies, but over the years, the actress has chosen to stay away from huge franchises and focus on small independent projects.

During her interview with theAssociated Press, actressKristen Stewartadmitted to director Rose Glass that she could not resist working out while filming the movie. She was supposed to play a gym manager who looks like a regular person, not as buff as abodybuilder.
“I’m not supposed to be strong in the movie. I just kind of was like… I just was. Yeah, because I am an idiot, and I was just jealous. I started the movie with a very different physicality than I ended it with because I just got wrapped up in the kind of like I thought it was. I found it cool.”

Being surrounded by physically fit people must have inspired Stewart to get her body in tip-top shape, too. Glass, on the other hand, could not believe when she learned that her lead star was disobeying her rules.
“I can’t remember if you told me or someone else after you’d agreed to do the film, I guess. And then someone said, ‘Oh, she’s been working out loads.’ I was like, ‘No!’”
Stewart refuted this and claimed she was only working out while on the set, not spending her free time going to the gym.
“That’s not true though, it was only on the movie. It’s like once I got to set… I just liked doing push-ups in my trailer. I know, I’m sorry. That was irresponsible and vain.”

At the end of the interview, Glass could not help but utter, “God!” with an expression of disappointment after Stewart apologized for her action.

Stewart talked about her experience telling the story of aqueer characteron screen during her conversation withOut Magazine.
“Gay people do a lot of stuff. They don’t just come out. They don’t just slowly glance, lingering, finger-brush each other. This movie was fun to do because I felt like we were all on a playground and allowed to be the kids that we were born as and then also as adults could play with. It was a nice return to form.”
