miHoYo officially revealed the release date for theHu Taobanner, Moment of Bloom, inGenshin Impact(PC,PS4,PS5, Mobile,Switchrelease date TBA).Hu Tao will be available to pull starting August 23, 2025 at 18:00 Server Time. The Hu Tao banner will last until June 16, 2025, at 14:59 Server Time. The introduction of Hu Tao will mark the beginning of the second part of the Version 1.3All That Glittersevents.
Moment of Bloom Banner Details
Besides “Fragrance in Thaw” Hu Tao as the featured five star characters, the banner will feature the following four star characters with a boosted drop rate: Xiangling, Xingqiu, and Chongyun.
Xiangling and Xingqiu have been featured in several banners so far. Moreover, Xiangling is one of the free characters ofGenshin Impact. As such, many players might not find the four star characters of the Moment of Bloom banner particularly appealing. However, Hu Tao alone might be worth it, seeing what we know about her Elemental Skill and Burst. Especially if you lack a good Pyro DPS character in your team.
Pity System inGenshin Impact’s Banners
As usual, there will be a pity system in place. Players get a guaranteed five star at 90 pulls, with a 50% chance for it to be the featured character. Which will be Hu Tao in this case. The pity counter carries over from one Limited Banner to another. Meaning it will carry over from the ongoingKeqingbanner. Be sure to take a look at your Wish history before pulling to know your pity counter.
The final rule to keep in mind is, if the latest five star pull you had on the limited banner was not the featured character, then your next five star pull is guaranteed to be the featured character. This would mean Hu Tao in this case.
With the arrival of Hu Tao, the new five star Polearm weapon Staff of Homa looks particularly appealing
The Epitome Invocation banner featuring the Staff of Homa is ongoing until March 16. If you manage to pull Hu Tao, and plan to make her your main DPS, and if you may afford whaling onGenshin Impact, it’s definitely a good idea to invest in the Staff of Homa as well. Hu Tao’s Story Quest Release Date
