Who would have expected the God of Mischief to be a healer inMarvel Rivals? Certainly not me, but after experimenting with his kit and learning his play style, it’s quite unsurprising.

Loki Abilities
While Loki is not blessed with excellent mobility, his strengths lie in trickery and repositioning through his Illusions.
Keep your foes guessing, as the only thing that distinguishes you from your clones is that they cannot move.
Description
Mystical Missile
Basic Attack. Fire green missiles that heal allies or deal splash damage to enemies.Each blast heals 40 health and deals 30 damage.
God of Mischief
Ultimate ability. Shapeshift into a target ally or enemy hero and use all their abilities except for Team-Up Abilities. While transformed, Loki’s Ultimate ability will be fully charged. Casting a transformation-type Ultimate ability will extend the duration of Loki’s transformation of that Hero. Lasts 15 seconds.
Regeneration Domain
Use Rune Stones to create a magical field that provides allies Healing and converts incoming damage into further healing, appearing near any Doppelganger you’ve left on the battlefield. Rune stones disappear if destroyed or its duration has expired (5 seconds). Allies inside the field will receive healing of 100 health per second, converting 30% of damage taken into more healing.
Doppelganger
Project an Illusion at any location (30m max distance) that can cast Loki’s basic and melee attacks, and create healing Rune Stones. Two charges maximum, each taking 12 seconds to recharge.
Devious Exchange
Swap with the selected Illusion. 30m range with a cooldown of 15 seconds.
Stab enemies with a dagger. 30 base damage; backstab damage adds 15 to a total of 45 per backstab.
Loki leaves an Illusion in his place and becomes invisible while continuously healing himself (20 health per second). This invisibility lasts indefinitely, but any actions other than Devious exchange, reloading, or casting Doppelganger will render him visible. Bumping into enemies and taking damage can also break him out of invisibility.

As a trickster, Loki’s survivability is dependent on your awareness of the map and your awareness of your Illusions.
Much like in offensive strategies, cast Illusions liberally to overwhelm your enemies' senses.

When Hela lands a final hit in defeating an enemy, she can instantly resurrect Loki and Thor in the respawn phase, or grant them Bonus Health (50 health) if they are still alive.
Thor and/or Loki
As long as Hela can land a final blow while you’re in the respawn phase, she can revive you and an ally, Thor.
The bonus health granted by this ability has a maximum of 100, so a great Hela could very much keep you and Thor alive.
Laufeyson Reborn is a very situational ability.It is only as useful as the ally Hela’s aim is good.
Loki Counters & How To Deal With Them
Loki has very few defenses outside his Illusions and healing, and his attacks can only do so much to keep him alive.
He is best in mid-range but struggles outside of that.Enemies who are melee or snipers can easily catch him unawares and take him out.
Namor’s octopus turrets can be direct opposition for Loki, while melee Heroes like Iron Fist and Spider-Man can target him specifically and take him out just as easily.
To survive as Loki, rely on your wits and use your Illusions as best as you can. If you are dogged by a melee Hero, swap with a distant Illusion and go invisible, then regroup with your team.
Best Team Comps With Loki
Loki has good synergy with most Heroes - he can heal diving allies by casting a clone near them or by directly healing them in the backlines.
In any scenario where you need to defend an objective, Loki works best with Peni and Namor, creating defensive choke-points to make the area almost impenetrable with your turrets and illusions.
A good Hela player can also be a game-changer for Lokis and Thors, making this Asgardian trifecta unstoppable.
How To Master Shapeshifting
In the heat of battle, your Ultimate has the potential to turn the tides, asshapeshifting instantly gives you a full Ultimate charge.
Before we get to the list of ideal Ultimates that Loki can steal,remember to change your Hero settings on your Keyboard tab. Toggle “Double Confirmation for God of Mischief” to ensure that you shapeshift into the correct character in the heat of battle.
The best rule of thumb in picking a character to shapeshift into is their Ultimates.Try to target single-use Ultimates that can easily disrupt the enemy team and aren’t too hard to use.
The biggest challenge in playing Loki is knowing how to play each Hero (at least the ones you want to shapeshift), and understand how to best use their Ultimate abilities.
