The final battle of the Lantern Rite 2022 Event inGenshin Impact, a rematch against the water dragon Beisht, is now available, here’s how you clear this Oceanic Defender sub-event and get Conquest Talismans.
How to access Oceanic Defender inGenshin Impact
Open the Paimon Menu, go to the Events menu, pick Fleeting Colors in Flight, and select Oceanic Defender. The game will then show you the location of the Domain on the map, and you may teleport straight to it.
How to clear Oceanic Defender, beat Beisht and get Conquest Talismans
Needless to say, before entering the Domain, make sure you’ve eaten your food buffs. Note that despite being a water dragon, Beisht is not immune to Hydro damage.Overall, any party composition works, so you should just bring your best geared and raised characters in terms of Talents and Artifacts.
I also recommend bringing a shield-making character in your party to avoid Beisht’s Jetstream attack. Obviously, Zhongli is the right choice if you pulled the Geo daddy, but if not then get your Noelle. If you don’t have either Zhongli or Noelle raised yet, then hopefully your Barbara is ready to go so you can at least heal yourself. Having one of these three characters at the ready is a must. You should definitely raise them in preparation for future Events if you haven’t yet.

Beisht has three heads with separate HP bars, and you need to defeat all three to emerge victorious from the battle. When you defeat two heads, all three will start attacking you nearly simultaneously.

There’s a short cutscene triggering once you’ve defeated two heads. In that final part of the fight, the other two heads can be attacked, but Beisht won’t take any damage if you do that, so focus on the last head. You can tell which head still has HP as it’ll have a more vivid blue color compared to the other two. Beisht’s most dangerous attacks always have an AOE red warning display so ensure to stay out of these, and you’ll be fine.

Note that you can join a player’s World or invite friends in yours, and challenge the Domain together. There is also an automatic Match feature when entering the Domain:

You’ll need to clear Oceanic Defender six timesin total to get all the Conquest Talismans. And you need all of the 2220 Conquest Talismans available if you want to buy all of the Event Shop’s wares, get a 4-star Liyue character with Prosperous Partnerships, and the Ningguang alternate costume/skin with The Moon’s Comely Brow.
