Swedish star Rebecca Ferguson is the toast of Hollywood right now thanks to her latest release,Dune 2,which is already on its way to becoming one of 2024’s biggest films. The beautiful celebrity has also made her charismatic presence felt in other massive franchises like theMission: Impossiblefilms with Tom Cruise.

Ferguson has also shared screen space with many A-list stars, including Hugh Jackman who she worked with in two films, namelyThe Greatest ShowmanandReminiscence. The celebrity spoke about her comfort level with Jackman and how she was able to completely be her authentic self while feeling extremely safe with him during many challenging scenes together.

Following their excellent chemistry inThe Greatest Showman, Rebecca Ferguson andHugh Jackmanshared screen space once again in 2021’sReminiscence. The neo-noir sci-fi thriller follows the story of a man who uses a machine that can see into people’s memories, to find his missing lover. The film saw both Ferguson and Jackman in completely different avatars to their earlier collaboration.
In an interview which appeared inDT Next, Ferguson spoke about her experience working on the project and her rapport with Jackman. TheDuneactor was effusive in her praise for the Marvel alum and his graciousness on set. She stated that the comfort level she shared with Jackman allowed her to express herself as authentically as possible without any embarrassment.

“I can try things out. I can be ridiculous. I can humiliate myself and still be so embraced and for him, just holding space for me. And hopefully he feels the same about me.”

2024 is looking to be a blockbuster year forRebecca Ferguson. The Swedish star’s portrayal of Lady Jessica in Denis Villeneuve’sDune 2is receiving a lot of praise even as the film looks well on its way to becoming one of the biggest blockbusters in Hollywood.
Following the sequel, Ferguson is now looking ahead to her next big project. As per a report inDeadline,The Greatest Showmanactor is set to feature with Chris Pratt inMercy. Veteran producer Charles Roven who recently won big forOppenheimer,will be on board to bankroll the Amazon MGM Studios film.

Mercy will be a sci-fi thriller directed by Timur Bekmambetov based on a script by Marco van Belle. The futuristic narrative follows a detective played by Pratt who is accused of a violent crime and is desperate to prove his innocence in a world where capital crime has become a regular occurrence in daily life.
