HoYoverse has included the Photo Mode feature in all of its hit titles. Honkai Star Rail has a feature that allows you to capture moments with your characters around different locations. Throughout the game, some of the quests will also require you to use this feature.
How To Use Photo Mode In Honkai Star Rail
The Photo Mode of Honkai Star Rail will not be available for you from the beginning of the game. You will need tocomplete the tutorialon taking photos in Honkai Star Rail to unlock this feature. Once you have completed the tutorial, you can capture photos using the Photo Mode anytime you want.
To take photos in Honkai Star Rail, click on thephone iconin the top left corner of your screen. you may also open the menu option by clicking on the ESC button. After the menu is opened, you will find a camera icon on the bar on the right side of your screen. Click on the camera icon to open the Photo Mode.
In this mode, you will find a view of your character along with the surroundings. You can setdifferent anglesby dragging the cursor in different directions. You can also set the zoom of your photo by adjusting the zoom bar. In order to click photos, press theCapture buttonor simply press F on your keyboard.
In the Photo Mode screen, you will find a triple dot menu option in the upper left corner of your screen. Clicking on this menu will allow you to customize the photos however you like.
Using the Camera Settings, you canhide Personal Informationor the UI of the game while clicking photos. These options will also allow you to hide the game watermark and take photos from a first-person point of view.
You can also selectActions and Expressionsfrom this menu. Two actions are available for each character while taking the photos, and each character will have aunique actionof its own. You can also set the expression of your character while taking the photo from this menu.
After capturing a photo, you will get the option to eitherSave the photoorEditit. By pressing the Edit button, you can apply different preset effects on the photos and also control the intensity of these effects before saving them.
Honkai Star Rail Photo Save Location
The captured photos can be saved by clicking the Save button after capturing the photos. By default, the photos will be saved on your PC’sInstallation Directory/Games/StarRail_Data/ScreenShotsfolder. If you are playing on mobile, the photo will be saved automatically on your gallery.
