If you’re considering which 5-star character to select in Honkai Star Rail, here are their strengths and weaknesses.
Argenti works as a new 5-star Physical Type character on the path of Erudition whose power lies in rapid attacks with quick energy regeneration that leads to an Ultimate that delivers a walloping. He strikes with large AoE attacks that can dismantle a group of enemies with a weakness to Physical Type but deals enough excess damage to all enemies to make a worthwhile addition to many teams.

Argenti Best Build & Relic Set
Argenti is a monster when it comes to battling large groups of enemies.His talent, Sublime Object, regenerates 3 energy per enemy hit with his attack, skill, or ultimate while also stacking Apotheosis. This increases his crit rate and can be stacked up to ten times. It makes Argenti particularly useful in places like thesimulated universeor against bosses that include numerous add-on enemies, as Argenti can continuously build his ultimate gauge. In addition to this, Argenti can use his ultimate at 90 energy or 180 energy, with a significant damage increase at 180.
Finding gear that increases his crit and crit rate, speed and attack, physical damage, and energy will go a long way in buffing Argenti.
4 Set Of Champion Of Streetwise Boxing
Argenti is relatively easy to build, andgearing him up with a set of Champion of Streetwise Boxing will ultimately push his attack and physical damage to greater limits. With two pieces, Argenti will have his Physical damage increased by 10%. When four pieces are equipped, Argenti’s attack will increase by 5% when he deals damage or takes damage, and this can stack up to five times.
If needed, Argenti also works well with the Musketeer’s Wild Wheat set. At two pieces, it increases his attack by 12%. With a full four-piece set, it also increases his speed by 6% and basic attack damage by another 10%. Since Argenti excels at damaging multiple targets hastily, increasing his speed is a viable alternative.

When both pieces of this set are equipped, Argenti will see his crit rate increased by 8%. If Argenti’s crit rate increases to 50% or higher in battle, his ultimate and follow-up attacks will see an effective 15% increase in damage output.There are many sets Argenti can utilize to his benefit, like the Firmament Frontline Glamoth, but he is rewarded with the best of both crit rate and damage increase by utilizing this particular set. Argenti will excel with a focus on crit rate and damage, speed, and high attack power. Since he regenerates energy at an accelerated rate anyway, he will likely benefit more from relics that increase the aforementioned stats over energy regeneration. Still, if luck is running low and an energy piece is all that is available, it absolutely will still benefit Argenti.

Argenti Best Light Cones
There are many useful light cones for Argenti to utilize, which is helpful for free-to-play teams. Unfortunately, there are not many Erudition light cones available to purchase like the other paths, but Argenti can work with just about anything that increases his damage output.
5-Star Light Cone: An Instant Before A Gaze
An Instant Before A Gaze takes the strengths of Argenti and capitalizes on them. This light cone increases his crit damage by a base of 36% (which can improve up to 60%). In addition to this, whenever Argenti uses his ultimate, its damage will be increased by a base of .36% damage per energy point up to 180 energy. In other words, a fully charged Argenti can inflict significant critical damage and follow it up with a devastating ultimate attack.
4-Star Light Cone: The Seriousness Of Breakfast
While his best light cone is, of course, his own An Instant Before A Gaze, there are plenty of other options to equip him with without doling out cash.The Seriousness of Breakfast is a nice, easy to obtain light cone that can be purchased from the Light Cone Manifest near the Forgotten Hall. This makes increasing the superimposition relatively easy, as purchasing another one is a matter of gaining Forgotten Hall currency. The Seriousness of Breakfast increases Argenti’s damage by a percentage while also increasing his attack per enemy defeated (up to a stack of three).
4-Star Light Cone: Make The World Clamor
While not as effective as the Seriousness of Breakfast,Make the World Clamor offers Argenti increased energy regeneration at the start of battle while also increasing his ultimate damage by a base of 32%. Overall, this is one of the better 4-star Erudition light cones, but for Argenti’s purpose, it does leave some to be desired.
Argenti Best Team Compositions
Argenti should serve as a main DPS, particularly against larger groups of enemies or bosses with numerous add-ons.Support characters who buff his speed while also increasing his attack and/or crit rate or damage should be prioritized. If possible, make Bronya a staple to Argenti’s party composition, as she not only grants free turns with her skill, but she increases her target’s attack and crit stats for a turn.
Character Type & Benefit
Support character that adds Atk & Crit increases. Deals solid wind and crit damage. Bronya’s skill will enable Argenti to attack more often, thus regenerating his energy at a higher clip.
Any Healer
Luochawill offer the best healer combination with Argenti, as he is capable of healing without spending skill points. Argenti is pretty soft, though, so any good healer will be beneficial to keeping him alive.
Fu XuanorPela
Fu Xuan offers an ambitious 5-star companion to the battle and will serve as a tank that utilizes fewer skill points than others (and utilizes Quantum damage). Pela, too, offers positive ice type support while very rarely needing to execute her skill, therefore saving all the skill points for Argenti.
