Choosing between the four houses inHogwarts Legacyis a tough task as you want to choose the right home for you. Just like in any other Harry Potter title, you’ll want to consider your choice wisely.

To aid you in your search for the right house, we have prepared all the information you will need forGryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw.
Sorting Ceremony
When you begin your sorting ceremony, you will need to make your first decision:
These choiceswon’t affect which house you get put into.However, there will be one other decision you will have to make that will have an impact:
The first one equates to Gryffindor, the second to Ravenclaw, the third to Hufflepuff, and the last to Slytherin.Choosing the corresponding option will automatically place you in that house.
Gryffindor Traits
Gryffindor is known as the house of Daringin the game, and also has a few other traits:
If any of these traits match your personality, then Gryffindor could be the right choice for you. Gryffindors are consideredthe most adventurous, though sometimes this can get them into trouble.Along with these traits, you will want to consider the clothing aesthetics that come along with this house. Gryffindor’s colors arescarlet and gold,so some of your clothing will reflect those colors rather than the other color options of the remaining houses.
You will also be able tomake friends with Natsai Onai in Gryffindor, who you can become partners with and eventually travel the grounds together. You’ll first meet her in theGryffindor Common Room, which you will have full access to as a member of the house.
Slytherin Traits
Slytherin is the house of Ambitionin Hogwarts Legacy, and includes the following traits as well:
If you feel you’re able to fall under any of these categories, then Slytherin will be the best house for you. Slytherins are often consideredthe most sly and competitive of the bunch,often concerned with their achievements. When considering clothing in the game, Slytherins will have the option of the colorsgreen and silverfor some customization options.
In this house, you will have the option tobefriend Sebastian Sallowand explore Hogwarts and the story with him. You’ll meet the ambitious and optimistic student in theSlytherin Common Roomwhich you will gain exclusive access to after your sorting.

Hufflepuff Traits
Hufflepuff is known as the house of Loyalty, and includes some of the following traits as well:
Hufflepuffs are often themost friendly and kind of all the houses,making them very approachable and often quite intelligent. This house’s colors areyellow and black, so keep this in mind when considering the colors you will be able to wear with some of the clothing customization options.
As for your companion in Hufflepuff, you’ll be able totravel the world with Poppy Sweeting.Once you gain access to theHufflepuff Common Room, you’ll be able to meet the magical beast-lover inside here and begin your friendship.
Ravenclaw Traits
Ravenclaw is the house of Curiosity in Hogwarts Legacy, with the added bonus of the following traits:
Ravenclaws arevery studious and often focused on their studies over anything else,making them some of the most academically-impressive at Hogwarts. In terms of clothing, Ravenclaw has the colors ofblue and bronze, so this will be your customization option for certain cosmetic items.
When given the opportunity to meet a future companion, Ravenclaws have the option tomeet and befriend Amit Thakkar.Upon entering theRavenclaw Common Roomafter your sorting ceremony, you’ll be able to introduce yourself to the budding historian and build a rapport with him.
