We’ve seen our fair share ofLEGOadaptations over the years, fromHarry Potterto Batman and Star Wars. There aren’t too many franchises left that haven’t been touched by the creative blocks, but it seems that it works really well as an animation inRed Dead Redemption 2’s Wild West.
Using stop-motion, a filmmaking technique seen in films like Coraline, Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio, and Chicken Run, animator Lego Crow has captured a hilarious scene between Uncle and John Marston using none other than Lego, and it’s something we never knew we actually needed.

70-Year-Old Gamer’s Emotional Reaction After Discovering Arthur’s Fate In Red Dead Redemption 2
70-year-old YouTuber MojaveD is devastated after finding out Arthur won’t be around much longer.
Lego Crow is a 22-year-old animator and 3D artist and going by their boatload of incredibly animated videos on theirYouTube channel, they are bursting at the seams with talent. Recently, however, Crow has been busy yet again on another LEGO classic by adding their magical animation touch to the Wild West environments of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Not only have they captured the environment from the game we all know and love in blocky format, but they have crafted a brilliant and funny scene from the game itself, starring Uncle and John Marston.
For those who have taken the horse by the reins and jumped into the amazing world of RDR2, you’ll know how, throughout the game, Uncle always has something to say and an opinion about everything, whether it’s with Dutch, Arthur, or in this case, John.
For this particular scene, animator Crow turned a conversation found in-game between Uncle, Charles and John in which Uncle puts poor John on blast by not only calling him terrible company and hopeless, but also putting down his little shack he calls a home. What makes it even funnier is that something as innocent as LEGO is part of this angry animated dialog.
OnReddit, fans of the LEGO v RDR2 mash-up love how hilarious this scene is and what an incredible job Crow has done with it. I mean, look at the huge carton of milk compared to Uncle’s little block body for a start.
Several commenters called out Charles, who just sat there, wanting no part of the conversation. “Dude honestly, the entire game is amazing but this scene alone is enough to replay the whole thing. Amazing. Love how Charles just sits there” saidstinkstabber69420, whileVeggietunachimed in with “When your friend’s parents are yelling at them…and you just sit there like Charles.”
“I would pay so much money for a Western Lego game” stated one reply.
If you happen to be a fan of LEGO and Dungeons and Dragons, a brand-new set will be revealed in the coming days. On the LEGOwebsite, a countdown clock has been set for when the minifigures will be available, but it looks as though an elf and a wizard are most certainly going to be included. Watch this space!
