When checking your portals in your house inHigh On Life, you’ll see a tally of every Luglox in those areas. How many you’ve opened compared to how many there are. If you count these all up and manage to open them all, you’ll end up just short of the Luglox Genocide achievement. That’s because you’re five short.

There are five secret Luglox hidden in the game, across three different locations. Two of them are only obtained throughwarp disc locations, while the last is a location only accessed by nearing the end of the story.
Skate Park Challenge
The first warp disc you will need to use is the one forthe skate park. The skate park is a peaceful little spot, occupied by teenaged aliens voiced by middle-aged voice actors. Walk up to them, and they’ll set a friendly little wager if you’re able to beat the high score for the skate park. Channel your innerTony Hawkand show those teens what you can do by earning a bare minimum of 42,069 points to earn these secret Luglox. Once you’ve earned enough points, your reward will be suddenly teleported onto the skate park the same way a warp base does.This Luglox will end up being well worth the hard work, there are a full 1,000 pesos inside, perfect for if you’ve been saving for a specific Gatlian mod or maybe the exclusive two trading cards in the pawn shop if you’ve yet to get those.
Quiet Cottage
If you already have both the warp discs you need for these secret Luglox, then once you finish the skate park, go right back to the disc spot and place the one for the Quiet Cottage. While the skate park is realistically impossible for you to beat until you earn more jetpack upgrades, the Quiet Cottage can be completed the moment you have the disc. Warp crystals can be easily farmed from the very beginning of the game, so if you would like to get the Quiet Cottage out of the way, buy the warp disc first as it is the most expensive one.
When it comes to difficulty, there isn’t a challenge in the same way the skate park has one. The challenge of Quiet Cottage is a morality issue, you have to kill a family of three.
It’s not been a secret the Luglox are alive, they noticeably breathe when you find one and the achievement for finding them all mentions genocide. However, High On Life suddenly showcases that Luglox can talk, procreate, and cook dinner. The father Luglox will even mention, politely it should be noted, that Luglox naturally open up every 40 cycles, and you could loot them by just waiting however long that is. But, that’s just flavor text. To get these Luglox counted, you need to eviscerate them with Knifey, same as the others. They will cry out, and your Gatlian will be horrified, but the game doesn’t have an opposite choice in your favor, so murder is the solution to the puzzle. If you’re wondering, yes, coming back to this spot later will result in the Luglox family staying dead.
None of the other warp discs have a Luglox attached.Cutie Town, The Movie Theater, Toilet, and Trolley Tracks have unique things to do but will not reward you with a Luglox. The final Luglox for the secret ones is just sitting in the open on a location only unlocked far into the story of the game. As such, this will be your last warning for story spoilers.

After Kenny brings you to the ruined homeworld of the Gatlians, you’ll be warned that the atmosphere is deadly, your house just happens to have a magical science fiction atmosphere shield around it. But as the picture showcases, in that dangerous atmosphere is a hidden Luglox. It’s just under a statue of what appears to be a horse-Gatlian creature and is fairly deep into the area. Unlike toxic waters, falling into a bottomless pit, orthe sandworm in Outskirts, you will not just teleport away. You just have to run in there while you take damage to grab the Luglox.
This is easier than it sounds for two reasons. The first is that yourmag-bootscome equipped with the ability topower slide.It takes the same fuel as your jetpack, meaning it also gets upgraded when you upgrade your jetpack fuel with pesos at the pawn shop. Make sure you have suitable upgrades, and you’ll zoom toward the Luglox with enough health to open it.
Opening this Luglox will also earn you anextra slot for Gatterall, which are the crystals you may feed your Gatlian in combat to instantly reactivate their special shot.Now if you’re wondering how you’ll get back to your house safely, the other bit of good news that makes this Luglox easy to open is that you won’t need to. You’re going to die not long after opening this Luglox, but the progress of opening it and earning the Gatterall slot will be saved, so you will still gain the net positive.
