Don’t worry about needing true origami paper, any type of construction or printer paper should work just fine, you will just need to be sure to cut it down into a similar sized square to the tutorial. When first stumbling onto this craft by Nintendo, after a quick Google search I was surprised to see that this isn’t the first time that fans have tried to make Pikmin crafts, and even origami versions oftheir favorite color Pikmin. Pikmin has been around since 2001 and like characters such as Mario or Kirby, fans love to put their own artistic twist and have a real-life version of their favorite characters to adorn their homes. I think that it’s a true testament to a game’s success when fans take to crafts of any variety to show their love for it.
