Saber Interactivehas announced a new project, and it’s one that should take people off guard, as it’s not what you’d expect from the studio that brought usWarhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
This time, Saber Interactive is publishing a title from Boss Team Games (Evil Dead: The Game), and it’s based on the Hellraiser horror series titled Hellraiser: Revival.

For those wondering, I’m very glad to mention that this is not a live-service game, but is a single-player, survival horror action game set in the horror franchise’s universe.
Hellraiser: Revival Will See Players Go Up Against Pinhead
In the press release sent out, Saber Interactive confirmed the game is headed to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S (sorry, last-gen gamers). According to Saber, Hellraiser: Revival is a new chapter “ripped straight from the bowels of oblivion.” It will blend a story-driven experience with survival horror and action elements into one package.
The game’s story revolves around Aidan, “who must unlock the dark powers of the Genesis Configuration, a mysterious puzzle box, to help his girlfriend from a hellish abyss. As Aidan, you’ll harness the box’s infernal abilities to survive your pact with the sinister Pinhead and battle against the twisted cult that worships him and the Cenobites. Fail, and your suffering will be legendary, even in Hell.”

Resident Evil Requiem Director Explains Why Leon Kennedy Is A Bad Horror Lead
The director of Resident Evil Requiem has said that Leon was considered to appear but was passed over, due to being a bad fit for a horror game.
Alongside the reveal trailer, Saber also announced that two Collector’s Editions for the horror game are now available for pre-order. Gamers can expect one version to feature a real-life replica of the Hellraiser Puzzle Box with a unique illumination effect inspired by the game, a Hellraiser statue to display it with, as well as other officially licensed collectibles created specifically for the Collector’s Editions.

There is no release date for the game available yet, so it’s unknown whether this is set to be released this year or in 2026.
While the Hellraiser franchise might seem like a great fit for games, we oddly haven’t seen any games for it in recent memory. The only thing we’ve gottenis Pinhead appearing as a killer in the Dead by Daylight franchisea few years ago.
Needless to say, I’m very glad this isn’t another live-service game. Let’s hope Saber and Boss Team knock this out of the park. We can never have too many single-player survival horror games.
Aside from Hellraiser, Saber Interactive is busy supporting Space Marine 2, and they also haveSpace Marine 3 cooking in the oven, though don’t expect that out anytime soon.
