Helldivers 2is finally giving its players their long-awaited review bomb cape.
Arrowhead has justreleaseda new cosmetic item for free for all players,a cape called Pillars of Freedom, commemorating the various review bombing campaigns the game has seen since its release, mainly thePSN account linking controversy.
Releasing the item now is particularly significant, since Helldivers 2 is one of several Sony games to have had theirregion restrictions lifted on Steamalongside the launch of the Steam Summer Sale.
Games like Helldivers 2, Stellar Blade, and The Last of Us Remastered are now available on Steam in over 100 more countrieswith these restrictions lifted, making now the perfect time to reflect on what it took to get to this point.
