Animators for popular anime series have tough competition with Artificial Intelligence being able to achieve things in a matter of minutes that the animators took years to master. Be itOne Piece,Dragon Ball, orNaruto, AI can generate a replica of the animation for the series or sometimes even better than the original.
This has become a huge point of debate in the industry as it poses a threat to the jobs of many animators and editors who have been working hard on these projects for so many years. Many animators even came forward to discuss the danger they have from AI and also pointed out the drawbacks of using artificial intelligence to create something that requires emotions.
A similar case has come to light recently on X(Formerly Twitter) where one of theOne Pieceanimators got accused of using AI by one of the generative AI users. However,One Piecefans instantly came to defend the animator who, looking at the scenario did not need much help in the first place.

A generative AI expertÓscar Bartolomérecently talked about watching an episode ofOne Pieceand while explaining things, he posted an AI-generated image of the protagonist of the series Monkey D. Luffy. The image was the exact replica of the character from the series but it had one small problem.
The image had a small error that was pointed out byJosé B. Rebolledo, one of the animators forOne Pieceanime. The AI expert then started pointing out the fact that he could never make something like this using AI. However, Rebolledo stated that he does not need to use AI to create such illustrations as he is one of the animators of the originalOne Pieceanime.
While accusing Rebolledo of using AI, Bartolomé stated that he is not the only person in the whole world who knows how to animate drawings. As the feud was growing,One Piecefans instantly came to defend theOne Pieceanimator against the accusations.

The feud was shared later by @M1das_OW2 on X and fans had some interesting response to it. Many people know that AI accusation is a serious issue that creators, editors, and animators deal with on a daily basis.One Pieceanimators are not new to this.
Their animation has reached such a great level that haters believe that have used other applicants like AI to create these. Fans started defending the creator and made fun of the AI expert for comparing the animation ofOne Piecewith the likes of AI-generated images.

AI animation has certainly grown over the last few years but contrary to popular belief, fans still love and support animators and editors who put their heart and soul into creating such great animations with a touch of human emotions that Artificial Intelligence won’t ever be able to bring to its work.
