Michael Jackson’s voice genuinely left a lot of people around the world perplexed. How could someone, especially a man, maintain a high-pitched voice for 50 years of his life?
Joe Roganbrought up Jackson’s alleged history of being abused and chemically castrated by his father during his childhood while Shane Gillis, Mark Normand, and Ari Shaffir were on the show. The UFC commentator spoke about the allegations saying,
His body looks so different from all of his brothers… he has no muscle at all. Nothing. He probably had no testosterone, so his voice never like reached male puberty voice.
According toEntertainment Weekly, Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray, was sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty to delivering a lethal dose of propofol to MJ, who died of a cardiac arrest as a result of it.

Murray outed Jackson’s father for chemically castrating theBeat Ithitmaker to maintain his high-pitched voice. In a video that was obtained byThe Blast, Murray called Joe Jackson one of the “worst fathers” in history and that he hoped the man found “redemption in hell”, following his death in 2018.

Conrad Murray had many things to say about Joe Jackson after the legend had passed in 2018. He claimed thatMichael Jacksonwould talk about his “many sufferings” while the pop star was his patient.
Murray only served two out of his four-year sentence and was released in 2011. After this, the doctor’s license was suspended in three states as well. However, Murray wasn’t the only one who addressed the alleged abuse Joe Jackson inflicted on the pop star.

Michael Jackson himself spoke about it in his 2003 documentary,Living With Michael Jackson. According toEntertainment Weekly, MJ said,

Joe Jackson passed away on June 06, 2025, after losing his battle with pancreatic cancer. His family had nothing bad to say about him, while MJ’s children, Prince and Paris, also spoke of how supportive and caring he was as a grandfather.
It has been 15 years since the King of Pop passed on, and these allegations may never be confirmed until sources from within the family speak up.
