Granblue Fantasy: Relink
How To Get Sigils
There are three main ways you’ll obtain Sigils.
Side Quests
Completing Side Quests is a great way to get very specific Sigils you’re in need of. Say you want aFast Learner VSigil to put on your low-level characters tolevel them up faster. You’ll simply need to farm out theSlimepede Maniacquest until you get it as a drop. The same thing with other Sigils.
The way to check what Sigil a quest drops is easy. Open the quest page in the Quest Counter and see what’s under the’Rewards’tab and the’Drop Items’tab. This is where you’ll find all possible items that drop from this mission, Sigils included.

Rare sigils like Critical Hit Rate V and Critical Damage V drop from Proud Difficulty.
Siero’s Knickknack Shop
There are actually two ways to obtain powerful Sigils from Siero.
Starting from Very Hard difficulty, you’ll start getting Curios, an item that needs to be appraised atZathba’s Appraisals in Seedhollow. Each Curio will have a random reward inside, which can sometimes be a Sigil. Some Sigils can only be obtained using this method, meaning they’re not available anywhere else. These exclusives are:

How To Upgrade Sigils
Sigil upgrades work the same way asweapon upgrades. You talk to the Blacksmith, select the ‘Upgrade Sigils’ option, and select the Sigil you want to upgrade. Spend the Rupee cost and material cost, and you’ll be able to level up your Sigil to the maximum level.
As mentioned before, Sigils come in five tiers (I, II, III, IV, V).

Like weapons, the upgrade cost for Sigils goes up the more you level them up and the higher the tier of the Sigil is.Low-tier Sigils cannot be upgraded to higher tiers. This means that if you have a Critical Hit Rate IV Sigil, you cannot convert it into a Critical Hit Rate V Sigil. It’ll remain a IV sigil with a max level of 10.
This also means thatthere is little point in trying to upgrade any Sigil below V. You’ll be spending materials and rupees on something whose better version can easily be farmed out from the later stages of the game. The only time you’d want to upgrade a IV Sigil is if you’re hard stuck on a Rank Up Questand cannot unlock the ability to unlock higher tier sigils.

Even then, I’d suggest increasing your character’s power level by other means, like filling out their Masteries or upgrading their weapons, because these things will carry over in the end game, low-tier sigils will not.
