In this guide, we will provide step-by-step instructions on how to unlock the Clayface side mission, track down and defeat the Clayface mimics, and succeed in the final boss fight. With our tips and tricks, you’ll be well-equipped to take on Clayface and save the day in Gotham City.
Finding Clayface
To find Clayface in Gotham Knights, you will need toprogress through the main storyuntil you reach the “The Masquerade” case, which is the fourth main case in the game. After completing this case, you will unlock the Clayface side mission, calledCF01: Clayface.
To start this side mission, go to the Belfry and access the Batcomputer. From the menu, select the “Case Files” tab, and then select the “CF01: Clayface” case file. This will initiate a cutscene, and you will receive a notification that the Clayface case file is now open and available to track.
To begin the Clayface side mission, you will need to find and defeat five Clayface mimics, which are marked with an orange triangle icon on the map. These mimics can be found in theWest Enddistrict of New Gotham, and can be located by using the scanner (press D-pad down) to find random crimes. Go to the crimes marked with the orange triangle icon and defeat the Clayface mimic to collect a Clay Sample.
Once you have collected five Clay Samples, you will unlock the secret Clayface case file. From the case file menu, select the “CF01: Clayface” file to access the sub-cases for the mission. The first sub-case, “1.1 The Malleable Mugger,” will task you with tracking down Clayface and defeating him in a boss fight.
