Gotham Knightsis a single and multiplayer adventure that follows four of Batman’s allies: Batgirl, Robin, Redhood and Nightwing. In this game, you’re able to play as any of these four heroes while you fight crime and protect Gotham. With Batman out of the picture, it is up to the Knights to keep Gotham safe and complete the investigation that led to Bruce’s death.

With the option to pick a hero to play as, you can swap and change based on the sort of mission you are looking to undertake. Or you can stick with your favorite hero; it is entirely up to you.
10Unlock The Knighthood Skill Tree
Each hero has four Skill Trees, three of which are unlocked apart from the last one, Knighthood. This Skill Tree requires certain things to be done in order for you to unlock this. You have to complete a training challenge, kill ten mini-bosses, and then thwart a certain number of premeditated crimes.
The reason you want to focus on this if you’re able to at the start is it will not only give you more skills to utilize but also unlock your Traversal Ability. What this does is allow you to get around the map a lot quicker. This is great when you have a long way to go and do not want to use the Bike.

9Spend Your AP
AP is your Ability Points; these are what you get when you level up, get collectibles, or complete challenges. These are then used to unlock skills in your skill tree. When you have earned AP on one hero, you have then earned it for all heroes. This means when you swap to a different hero, you have all the AP you have unlocked so far to spend.
This helps you to stay at a high level no matter when you start using a Knight, ensuring a smooth transition when you decide to swap over to another of the knights.

8Collect XP & Resources
In order to level up, you are going to need plenty of XP. This can be farmed by completing premeditated crimes, street crimes, finding collectibles, and completing missions. XP is crucial to leveling, so it is very important to complete as many side objectives as you can to help you stay powerful enough to complete the main missions.
By doing these side missions, you will also receive resources;these are used to craft weapons and suits and will be very important as you progress through the game.

7Craft & Adapt Your Style
In order to increase your power, defense, and adapt what buffs you have, you will need to change your suits and weapons. You can unlock suits as you progress through the game, butyou are also able to craft them. Crafting them is easy; you can either do it at the crafting station in The Belfry, or you can access it through the normal menus where you can see all your skills. Bear in mind, though, that you cannot equip anything crafted unless you are in The Belfry.
Once you have unlocked a suit, you can then adapt what you are wearing should you only want the buffs and power of what you have crafted. You may really like the look of one suit, so if this is the case, you can change the style of the suit that you are wearing to this one you like. By changing the style, you will only impact the look of the suit, not the stats.

6Make Sure To Check Available Mods
When you equip a suit or weapon, you are also able to add mods to it. These mods will increase the stats on the item you add them to. This is great should you want to increase the output of your favorite weapon or suit. Mods get unlocked by completing missions and finding caches; they can be found in the loadout menu.
RELATED:Gotham Knights: Which Character Should You Choose?
There are different levels of mods that you’re able to unlock: common, uncommon, rare, and legendary. You need to check what the mod does before you add it in, as it will match your current level. So, you may have a level ten common that is stronger than a level five legendary; this is why checking the power levels is more important.
5Don’t Forget To Switch Between Heroes
If you are playing alone,do not forget to switch between characters. This gives you the opportunity to pick and choose between heroes depending on the mission you are taking. This doesn’t only offer you narrative differences, but certain heroes are better suited to certain situations and encounters.
For example, Robin specializes in stealth abilities, so if your mission has stealth aspects, and you are struggling, then switching to Robin could help. If you are having to battle waves of strong enemies, then Redhood could give you the edge.

4Collect Caches
Batman always has backups for most things. This is why he has caches hidden all around Gotham. When playing the game, you can find these caches whenever and with whomever you want. When locating a cache, you will then need to complete a time trial by going through the checkpoints before the time runs out.
This shows you the location of a cache whereyou can unlock legendary gear and mods. The loot you find will always be the level you are currently, so with this in mind, it may be best to leave the caches until you are at a higher level so they will be more beneficial to you.
3Complete Hero Stories
As you level up and progress with your heroes, you will unlock cutscenes around the Belfrythat will give background and advancement in your hero’s story. There is a mission line for every hero, so if you are switching between heroes, then you will be able to complete the story missions for each one.
The first story mission is to complete the Knighthood unlock, and then you will unlock a mission as you complete each subsequent story mission.
2Utilize The Training Area
If you are looking to refresh your skills and make sure you are fully equipped for the missions you undertake then, you need to use the training area.In The Belfry over by the kitchen area, you will find a training dummy for you to activate the combat training.
In combat training, you are able to go through Basic Training, Abilities Training, and Advanced Training. These are all the things you need to know to take on your enemies and make sure you know what you are doing.
1Use Fast Travel
If you are looking to save time and not have to traverse the whole map, then using Fast Travel will help. Initially, you will only be able to Fast Travel to The Belfry — this can be done from the map screen.
As you make your way through the Lucius Fox side missions, you willunlock the ability to Fast Travel to certain areas of the map. You will get a mission from Lucius Fox to scan drones around each section of the map. Once you have scanned these, you will open up Fast Travel in this area.
