Another day and another post gushing aboutGod of War. Yes, as you may have noticed we love writing about"The Ghost of Sparta"and his kin, Atreus, or really anything to do with the game due to how compelling its characters are and how greatGod of Waris to play. While many of us have been housebound since the Coronavirus outbreak - as gamers thankfully we will always have something to pass the time - going to get a tattoo done hasn’t been high on our list for very obvious reasons. But it may just be worth venturing out to get one if you end up with something as incredible as thisGod of Warsleeve tattoo by Reddit userSideQuestNoRest.

As you can see from the design, it’s so well detailed and the color really brings it to life. The splashes of red on Kratos' face, shoulder, and arm pair beautiful with the red hue of a cherry tree depicted throughout the tattoo. We can also see that Kratos and Atreus are taking on a huge troll with Kratos flying through the air with his ax and Atreus kneeling with his beloved bow. We know that trolls are violent creatures inGod of Warand can be quite the challenge due to their aggression towards everyone they cross paths with, attacking not only Kratos and Atreus but also men and dwarves unlucky enough to encounter them so it seems appropriate to have this threesome in an epic battle in the form of a kickass tattoo.

At this point, you are probably wondering who the tattoo artist of this comprehensive piece of skin art is? Thankfully, he wasn’t too hard to track down due to his reputation. The artist is Mikael Rämgård from Swedish who specializes in realism and has an intense love for black and grey art as well as portraiture. His strength lies in his ability to create individual artistic pieces from photos which is probably how the owner of this sleeve tattoo got such a great tattoo piece. Mikael has won awards around the world for his creative talents and was a contender in the first season of InkMasters, Sweden, which saw his popularity rise. Since then he has toured the world, tattooing in Stockholm, London, Los Angeles, Toronto, Bangkok, Melbourne to name a few. He continues to travel the world but is now based in Sydney Australia.

You can check Mikael out over on Instagramright hereand marvel at all the tattoo work he has done up until this point. Who knows, maybe you too could get Mikael to create your very own video game work of art tattoo for yourself? Of course, only when it’s safe to do so or at the very least, wear your mask!

Since you are here and have an interest inGod of War, you may enjoy an incredible piece ofGod of Warfan art by Çağlayan Kaya Göksoy, a 24-year-old self-taught freelance concept and illustration artist from Turkey. Çağlayan drew a fantastic image ofKratos sitting upon his thronethat’s just busting with atmosphere and skill. To see a similarly done piece of fan art that this time depicts an older Atreus, you can check out Sam Yang who does a bunch of brilliant digital paintings in photoshop. Recently Sam captured Atreus as a fully grown man and Kratos as a much older man in the background – it’s a really stunning piece that you can viewright here. Coming in with some cosplaying adventures is Ibelinn, a talented cosplayer from Norway who mimicked the beautiful style ofGod of War’s goddess Freya and it suffices to say that all her hard work and hours put intothis cosplaytruly paid off. For those of you who are big Kratos fans, you may dig thisclay sculptureof the big man himself done by the incredibly talented Reddit user and artistFlompydompybompythat is crafted with the finest touch and also impeccably detailed.

At the start of the year, Sony and Santa Monica Studioreleased an episodeof the Worlds Collide podcast, which is a deep dive into how the many elements ofGod of Warcame together to tell a rich and deep narrative. In one particular episode called “The No-Cut Camera,” we got a look at how the studio managed to pull off a single-take camera effect with no cuts. We all know thatGod of Wardirector Cory Barlong is the king of witty banter on Twitter and recently, we saw him andThe Last of Usdirectorgo head to headin a jokingly way by pitting the two games by claiming thatGod of Waruses more teraflops than 2013sThe Last of Us.

For those wanting to playGod of Waron PC, there was some newsin March this yearregarding the topic. Following some new changes surfacing on the PlayStation website, we saw that the U.S. version of the official PlayStation website no longer contains the “Only On Playstation” forGod of War. This, of course, could mean many different things but as we have seen of late Sony is clearly intending to bring more of its first-party published titles to PC, even if it doesn’t meanGod of Warat this time.

God of Waris available now exclusively on PS4. If you have yet to experience the game for yourself, you’re able to pick up the game right now over on Amazon.
