Pocketpair, the team behind the first hit game of the year,Palworld, shocked the industry by making record sales and being played by almost everyone for an entire month. Apparently,Palworldis aiming to reach new horizons; the game could be available on PS5 soon.
Xbox users want the same forHelldivers 2, but this will not happen anytime soon. In an interview with Bloomberg, the director of the game and the head of the studio revealed that the game has more than 25 million players across Xbox and PC.

There are two games that were absolutely successful in terms of sales and concurrent players.The first wasPalworld, which sold more than 10 million copies, and then cameHelldivers 2, which sold more than 1 million copies. Both games are not available for all platforms; in the case of Palworld, it can only be played on PC and Xbox, whileHelldivers 2is only available on PS5 and PC. Players are asking for both games to be released on the remaining platforms so they can join in the fun.

In a recentinterview with Bloomberg, Takuro Mizobe talked about the success of the game and how he and the studio were not prepared for this kind of income coming to Pocketpair. The Japanese founder of the studio wants to keep things small and not focus on any other ambitious projects. Mizobe also said that the studio is open to acquisition offers and partnerships to make the game possible on other platforms. He hasn’t confirmed directly thatPalworldwill be available on PlayStation, but he said that the studio is working on this.

In the interview, Mizobe also talks about how the studio was not prepared for this kind of money with the sales of the game; the studio aimed for small profits and projects. He is very proud of the success of the game and encourages players to play multiplayer; he said that is something of the current times to play multiplayer.Palworldis the perfect example of this.
