On your journey through the spooky abandoned streets ofGhostwire: Tokyo, you’ll be able to find over a hundred relics as you fight your way back against thehorrorsof the supernatural. These relics will range from true relics of the ancient past to modern items like a lost comb, or even as simple as a beetle from a tree.

If you want to sell these trinkets, you’re in more luck than you might think, as the locations you can sell them will also be happy to point you in the direction of more. You just need to find the stalls run by the Nekomata.

How Nekomata Vendors Work

Before these shops get revealed to you, it’s relevant to explain just why you want to find them. The Nekomata have set upthirteen vendor stalls that each take specific Relics.

Talk to one of these magical kitties and you’ll see an exact list of which Relics they want to buy from you.You can’t just sell any Relic to any Nekomata.Give a sellable Relic to the right Nekomata, and you’ll be rewarded with a good handful of Meika for your troubles.

You will also earn extra rewards after you sell a certain amount of Relics.These vendors are also storefronts in their own right, and will directly sell rare items like KK’s Investigation notes, Magatama, and new wardrobe options.Do not confuse these vendors with the convenience stores also run by Nekomata, they are completely different types of stores and sell different items.

Now if you come across a Nekomata vendor before you’ve found any of the Relics they want,Tango Gameworkshas cut you a break, becauseyou can select a Relic to instantly track it with a yellow area on your map.

Handicraft Nekomata

Near the bottom of the map,the Handicraft Nekomata will end up as your introduction to the Relic-Hunting Nekomata.You’ll unlock it after youcleanse the Torii gatefor the Shiroyama Shrine.This is how unlocking these Vendors will always work; you cleanse a Torii gate for a shrine, be it one necessary for the story or one off the beaten path, and then the Vendor will appear on your map.

You won’t be able to visit them before you clear the area, they will usually be buried in the fog.The earliest you may visit every Relic-Hunter isthe beginning of Chapter 4.

Notice the color of the icon; it’s green.Green Nekomata are ones you have unlocked from a Shrine but have not interacted with yet, they turn yellow after you’ve shopped there once.You can also fast-travel to any Relic-Hunting Nekomata you’ve previously visited.

Cleansing theKuo Shrinewill earn you that chance to visit the Luster-Loving Nekomata stall. Their list of wanted Relics is pretty short:

Artsy Nekomata

Go cleanse theYashin Shrineif you don’t have Artsy Nekomata on your map yet. Artsy is asking for just as many Relics as Luster-Loving was:

Nostalgic Nekomata

A fan of toys from the past, the Nostalgic Nekomata will appear on your map after cleansingHirokawa Shrine.They ask for the following:

Musical Nekomata

Matsumi Shrineis where you’ll need to cleanse to find the Musical Nekomata. They would like you to bring them the following:

Japanophile Nekomata

Here’s a mouthful for you,cleanse the Utagawa Shopping District Torii Gate to find the Japanophile Nekomata.Then you’re able to bring them the following:

Playful Nekomata

The Playful one is handing just left ofYamaki Shrine.They wish for the following:

If that list wasn’t long enough, don’t worry, they wantmore than one Kite.There’s a small count of Relics where there is more than one, and Relic-Hunters will want all of them.
