At gamescom Opening Night Live, Sucker Punch Productions unveiled a new trailer forGhost of Yotei. While we’ve seen a fair number of trailers for the sequel already, this one has a little surprise at the end.
The latest trailer for the game confirmed we’ll be seeing Ghost of Yotei Legends DLC in 2026.
If you’ve played Ghost of Tsushima, chances are you’ve seen the game’s Legends mode, and this seems to be a continuation of it.
Ghost of Yotei Legends Will Be Free DLC Out In Early 2026
According toSony, Ghost of Tsushima’s Legends mode will be the game’s co-op multiplayer component, featuring a supernatural setting that contrasts with the grounded world of Ghost of Tsushima.
Yotei’s Legends DLC will offer two-player story missions and four-player survival matches. Players will take the role of one of the four character classes to try and defeat demonic, giant versions of the Yotei Six.
If Ghost of Yotei’s Legends mode is anything like that of Ghost of Tsushima’s, except customization, abilities and more to be part of the equation to keep things fresh.
Expect Ghost of Yotei’s Legends mode to feature its own variety of charms, armor and weapons, which should further add replayability to the base game.
In other news about Ghost of Yotei, Sucker Punch Productions isusing music as a way for players to navigate in the game. This is something new to the series, and one that’s needed, givenYotei has the largest map Sucker Punch has ever developed, which is saying something since Tsushima featured a pretty big environment.
Ghost of Yotei will be released exclusively on the PS5 on October 2.
