A new 40-minuteNintendoDirect will be broadcast tomorrow at 7 am PT / 10 am ET.

The timing of the Direct is coincides with the Tokyo Game Show, which is set to begin later this week. According to Nintendo, the Direct will be “mostly focused on Nintendo Switch games releasing this Winter.” This does leave some scope for 2023 games, however.

Tokyo Game Show will feature third-party publishers showing off their Switch games, so it’s likely the Direct will feature a number of these to give international audiences a flavour of what people are experiencing on the ground in Tokyo. Viewers will also be hopeful for a big first-party reveal from Nintendo.

It’s worth noting that if you’re in the United Kingdom, the Direct is not technically being broadcast due to the mourning period for the recently-deceased Queen Elizabeth II. Nintendo will be uploading a video of the Direct at 4 pm UK time rather than a broadcast. However, UK viewers can simply watch the U.S stream at 3 pm.

There hasn’t been a full Nintendo Direct since February. A couple of smaller Directs forXenoblade Chronicles 3andSplatoon 3have occurred in the interim. However, with the announcement of a full Direct comes a level of expectation for new reveals. It’s currently unknown what exactly Nintendo has planned for tomorrow’s event.

As for games releasing at the end of this year, there isBayonetta 3,Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, andMario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hopeto name but a few. Major third-party releases likeSquare Enix’sHarvestellaand Dragon Quest Treasures may make appearances.

The delayed untitledBreath of the Wildsequel may appear even though it’s currently slated for a 2023 release. Nintendo doesn’t often do a Direct without a big-ticket item and a Zelda trailer would certainly be a big way to end the stream.

Whatever happens, we’ll be bringing you live coverage of the event tomorrow.
