Back when the game was first teased, many gamers were slightly disappointed as some of the characters within the trailers didn’t look like their counterparts in both the manga and the anime, but now, thanks to this new trailer, we can finally see a change in the character models that fans of the franchise can get behind.

After the recent passing of Akira Toriyama, it may be evident that Bandai Namco has decided to be a lotmore faithful to the original works rather than alter certain models and characters.This is something the gaming community appreciates, as it feels more like a love letter to Akira Toriyama.
One example is from a Reddit user known as Obelisk7777, who recently shared two images that were used to compare two separate models of the character Cell and how his colour palette has been adjusted slightly to be more accurate to the original character model.

Over thepast few trailers, we have begun seeing a few alterations to different characters,whether they be big or small, but one character received a few minor adjustments that have received a lot of positive responses from the gaming and anime communities.

This other character in question is Super Saiyan God Goku, in which he obtained a few changes to his eyes, hair, and GI to match the original anime designs. Even though the changes are very minor and can barely be noticed by a regular viewer, fans have noticed and are pleased by these changes.
Whether it is a reduced color to his eyes or adding a bit of darker red to his GI, some of these changes prove that the developers behindDragon Ball: Sparking Zeroare willing to make changes to upgrade the upcoming title.
