After more than 20 years of waiting, Lohan has now officially confirmed that she and Curtis are doing a sequel. She revealed the exciting information onAndy Cohen’s SiriusXMshow. When Andy Cohen asked Lohan whether a sequel would happen, Lohan candidly replied“It is happening”. However, the actress claimed that she did not want to spill too much information about the sequel yet.
Lohan further stated that she and Curtis are“both excited”about the film and the various narrative possibilities that the sequel can go. The film does not have a writer or director yet and Disney seems to be taking their time to develop the sequel. Fans have to wait for more updates about the sequel later in the year.
