Epic Gameshas confirmed thatFortnitewill be receiving another update later today, which will mark the beginning of the ‘Summer Escape Event.’ The v25.11 update won’t be one of this season’s major updates, but it will include plenty of new Summer skins for players to get their hands on.

Unfortunately, despite being a minor update, it will come with some server downtime. During this time, players will be prompted to download a small patch before they can check out all of the new Summer goodies. The patch will be deployed on all supported platforms, which includes PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Android devices, and PC.

When Will Fortnite Servers Be Back Up Today? (June 27)

Epic Games has confirmed that Fortnite servers will be taken offline onWednesday, June 27th at 4AM ET. Matchmaking will be disabled approximately 30 minutes beforehand, meaning players will be unable to jump into a new game from 3:30AM ET.

Fortnite servers are expected to beback online by 6AM or 7AM ET on June 27th, but the length often varies with new updates. Players will also be required to download a new patch update before they can jump back into Fortnite.
