Later on, after Sony officially announced its 40-minute showcase around PS5 titles for September 16, the announcement tweet was been retweeted by Shinji Hashimoto, the brand manager for theFinal Fantasyseries and the producer behind manyFinal Fantasygames includingFF XV. Reportedly, he tends to retweet the events where his games would make an appearance.
Last but not least, the team behindFinal Fantasy XIVrecently revealed that they have finished the pre-production process fortheir new projectand that they were hiring new developers for this unannounced game which is highly rumored to beFinal Fantasy XVI.
On September 16, Sony’s next PS5 showcase will likely reveal some new games for the console, while providing more updates on the already announced next-gen games. The event is also expected to reveal the release date and price for PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition, though some rumors and leaks suggest that the consoles will be priced at $499 and $399 respectively.
