Where To Get A Chocobo In Cosmo Canyon
Upon arriving in Cosmo Canyon, players can complete thefirst Remnawave Tower in Kamaria’s Ranchto reveal the location of the nearestWorld Intel.Beginning the side quest for this ranch will also point players to the Chocobo, but it isnot necessary to find and wrangle it.The Chocobo can be found at the"Chocobo Intel: ???" location just north of the ranch.

How To Wrangle Aponi
Getting to and wrangling Aponi will be anotherstealth-based mission to reach the Chocobo undetected.Like in previous sections, once a Chocobo is passed, it will fall asleep, with various checkpoints also being unlocked as players reach certain points. Reaching Aponi will require players topush and pull minecarts while also distracting Chocobos with rocks,being the most difficult stealth Chocobo wrangling section in the game.
For the first Chocobo, simply push the minecart until Cloud gets close to being seen, andsneak around the left side of the minecartto continue pulling it along the tracks but out of the Chocobo’s view. The next Chocobo can be passed with the same trick, justwait for the Chocobo to look back down the trackbefore sneaking around and trying to pull it. Use the lever to turn the track and push the minecart forward.
Continue this same method with the next Chocobo before reaching the second lever. Pick up the nearby rocks to the left andthrow one behind the Chocobo to distract it,watching the lever to make it turn while Cloud pulls the lever. Finally, the last Chocobo near Aponi will need to be distracted by throwing a rock past it whilepushing the minecart directly at Aponi.Players will also need to throw a rock past Aponi to make it turn around, but notethis Chocobo will turn back much quicker,and the distraction rock should only be thrown when the mincart is very close.
Cosmo Canyon Chocobo Ability
Aponi is able tolaunch itself off small ramps and glide a good distance before hitting the ground.Players can descend quickly to gain speed and try ascending with that momentum.Gliding is done by holding R2,and releasing the button will have the Chocobo drop out of the sky withno fall damage of any kind.Theside questfor the ranch is a great trial to showcase just how much the Chocobo can glide and how effective it can be at traversing the Canyon.
Chocobos are helpful in exploring a region, but another method will be needed totravel back to previous regions.Going back to previous regions is a useful way to complete World Intel andincrease the Party Level.
