What Are Limit Breaks?
Limit Breaks are the ultimate attack that your characters can do. Thankfully, they do not take up any ATB Charges, meaning you can go from using your Limit Break to attack enemies to switching to Spells or other attacks as soon as you’re done.
How To Use Limit Break
to use your Limit Break, you will first need to increase your Limit Meter. To do this, you will just need to continuously attack the enemies around you. Once you see your Limit Meter fill up, you can enter into your attack menu and select Limit. From there, you can select which Limit Break you want to use (you will only have one Limit Break, unless you have unlocked the other levels during your battle), and select which enemy you want to use it on.
You want to make sure that you are using your Limit Break on the most powerful enemy in the group you’re fighting. Since this is a powerful attack, you’ll get the most out of it.
How To Increase Limit Break Levels
At the start of every fight, every character’s Limit Break Level will be at one. However, there are certain accessories and items that can increase this to Limit Break Level 2 at the beginning of fights. As the fight continues, you will be able to doSynergy Attacks, which can increase your character’s Limit Break Level up to the second level. The only way to increase your Limit Break Level to the highest level (3) is tomax out your characters' Foliosafter reachingParty Level 9. Once you have done this, you will unlock new abilities and access new parts of the Folio. From there, you may invest in increasing your Limit Break to the maximum level.
