There are many sources of experience inFinal Fantasy 16. One of the best ways to gain experience without needing to farm experience or go out of your way too much is to just do a side quest or two between main missions.

This will have you leveling up faster than just pounding out quest after quest. However, there is a general option available for gaining a lot of experience in a short window of time.
Boost Your Experience Gain Using On Fortune And Heavens
The first thing you will want to do is play through the main quests until you get theCid the Outlawmain quest. Near where you pick up this quest will beCharon’s Toll. Speak with the NPC vendor and get yourself the accessory called “On Fortune and Heavens.” Go to your accessories tab and equip this accessory. Of Fortune and Heavens will raise the experience you earn by an additional 15 percent. This adds up staggeringly fast and will greatly speed up your leveling. Itcosts 5500 Gil,so if you need some Gil fast, bettergo find some Bluebirds.
Leave No Enemy Alive
You willpass by a lot of enemiesjust while playing the game, and it is easy to just go around them. Instead of doing this, justgo through them andget some extra bits of experience each time. This will reduce the amount of time that you will need to go out of your way to go farming. This is a similar mentality to doing one or two side quests between main missions.
Grab The Highest Hunts You Can Handle
Once you haveOn Fortune and Heavens equipped, it is time to startchecking off hunts. Be sure yourgear is up to scratchat all times. Here, you will want tostart with C-rank huntsand thenmove on up to taking the highest-ranking hunts you can find, as they will reward you with themost experience, which will beboosted by On Fortune and Heavens. Hunts will be a much better source of experience than just running through fields and fighting random enemies. You will also beracking up some Gil and Renown in the process.
