Daredevil: Born Againhas started filming, and innumerable set leaks have taken over the internet. From the return of Foggy and Karen to Daredevil’s new suit, we came around a plethora of viral leaks. The new suit has raised a fan debate on X, with some preferring it over the grittier Netflix design and some disappointed.
However, a user also took to his X account to discuss one of the prevalent issues in superhero suits- fingerless gloves. One of the suits in Netflix’s Daredevil also had a fingerless glove. A specific section of fans pointed out that having fingerless gloves is stupid for superheroes who want to keep their identity secret.
Is there a significant problem in Netflix’s Daredevil suit?
Daredevil has a wide range of suits across his numerous iterations. While some are significant fan favorites, the others have raised a mixed reception. Even the suit worn by Matt Murdock’s alter-ego inShe-Hulkraised polarizing reactions on the internet. A large section of fans did not like either the suit or the tonality given to the character in the show. However, given the quality of the Disney+ show,Charlie Cox‘s appearance became the sole positive aspect of the entire series.

Now a user (@Guslivesagain) has taken to his X account to raise a debate on the usage of fingerless gloves by superheroes. Such a suit is also worn by the Man Without Fear in Seasons 1 and 3 of the Netflix show. The user Gus has pointed out, and many fans have agreed that the exposure of the fingers is a significant flaw for superheroes who try to hide their identity.

In the first and third seasons of Netflix’sDaredevil, we spotted Matt Murdock sporting a homemade suit. Although fans can argue that the suit looks hell cool on the superhero, it must be noted that it is a logical flaw in the design of the costume.

What do the fans think about the flaw?
The debate has not only pointed out the Daredevil as the sole superhero with this problem. It is a common flaw among many popular comic book characters including Batman. The Dark Knight is a character who is extremely intelligent and tactical in his actions, and the fans do not hesitate to state that such a flaw is unacceptable for Batman.

I liked that for Season 3 Daredevil it at least had a good reason, since he lost his heightened senses temporarily so he had to use his fingers to feel for the vibrations of things. Also during this season, he was at a point where he gave up being Matt Murdock and wanted to be DD

Many fans liked the more vibrant color scheme of Matt Murdock’s suit but the lack of the comic-accurate double D logo has disappointed a major segment. Even though it is a significant improvement over the yellow suit shown inShe-Hulk,the fans have stated that the suit would have looked betterwith the double D logo.
Daredevil: Born Againwill be streamed on Disney+ sometime in January 2025, while the existing seasons can be streamed on Disney+.
