As a result, the whole audiovisual industry learned a big lesson about what to do and what not to do when wrapping up a story. While there are exceptions, it’s crucial not to go too far.The Boysmight be heading down a similar path as GOT if the cast’s opinions are taken seriously, and fans aren’t happy about it.

Karen Fukuhara Wants AGame Of Thrones-Style Scene To Her Character

The latest Comic-Con in San Diego brought some excitingnewsand interesting interviews, particularly during the panel forThe Boys. However, it was an interview withTV Guidethat really caught attention and sparked a lot of chatter on social media.

The cast was asked how they envisioned the “perfect death” for their characters in the series.Karen Fukuhara, who plays Kimiko Miyashiro, was initially taken aback by the question but then described her ideal scene, drawing a comparison to a very specific moment fromGame of Thrones.

“It’d be really odd”: Chace Crawford’s Pitch for The Deep’s Terrible Fate in The Boys Season 5 Could Be One of the Show’s Biggest Twist

In the series’ season finale years ago,Arya Stark took down the Night King, a surprising twist given her youth and the scale of the villain. Fukuhara revealed that she would be thrilled for Kimiko to meet her end, as long as it involved her taking down the mighty Homelander in a similar way.

I will say I want like the Arya Stark moment you know when she defeats the White Walker and nobody expected that, so perhaps, maybe Homelander can be taken out by Kimiko. I don’t know, that would be a good death, like if I’m going to take him out, I would be willing to die.

Although Arya Stark didn’t die, the actress hinted she’d be happy if Kimiko performed a similarly heroic act. The problem is, fans didn’t quite agree with this idea:

Does she not understand that everyone HATED that Arya Stark moment?https://t.co/ou9KNszYB9

Does she not realize how unsatisfying it would be for her of all people to kill him? There’s only like 4 people in the show who would narratively make sense and she is not on that list

“There’s a lot of material there”: Eric Kripke’s Honest Reason For Bringing Soldier Boy Back in The Boys Season 5 Resolves Fans’ Biggest Complaint From Season 4

It NEEDS to be Butcher. You can’t have them form a rivalry, not to mention the tug-of-war with Ryan, just to have someone else land the killing blow. It would be so anti-climactic.

Fans ofGame of Thronesdidn’t like that scene because they felt Arya Stark wasn’t the right choice for the role. They believed her journey wasn’t meant to culminate in that way, and there were other, more fitting characters for the moment.

Many are advising not to take Fukuhara’s comments too seriously, even though the actress has made it clear that her wish is simply for Kimiko Miyashiro to be the one responsible for such an important death inThe Boys.

Could Kimiko Miyashiro Actually Take Down Homelander?

Even though the character didn’t speak throughout the seasons, she still won over the audience and became one of the most beloved characters in the series.

Kimiko, who grew up in Japan, had her life shattered when a terrorist group killed her parents and took her and her brother to join a terrorist army in the Philippines, where she was tortured. Years later, she was smuggled into the USA and forced to take Compound V, becoming a Supe against her will.

She faced ongoing suffering, and soon wants to give up violence, but after being attacked by Soldier Boy and losing her powers, she has a chance to start over. However, realizing the need to fight supervillains, she chooses to take another dose of Compound V, this time by her own decision.

Overall, Kimiko’s journey aligns with what the actress envisions for her character’s story. Taking down Homelander, who is central to her destiny, makes sense as a major goal. Kimiko is one of the most wronged characters, but fans are nearly unanimous in believing thatButchershould be the one to handle this mission.

Fukuhara joked that her response to TV Guide might actually become a reality. Could it? Fans are hoping that showrunnerEric Kripkedoesn’t take it seriously. In an interview withGamesRadar, Kripke admitted he’s feeling the pressure to wrap up the series well, aiming for the final season to do justice to the show.

Now, it’s a matter of waiting to see what unfolds.
