Being compared to Age of Empires for Avatar fans, Bobble Battles covers the first and second seasons of the animated series fairly faithfully. You have the fate of each iconic battle from the timeline in your hands, and in addition to controlling your favorite heroes, you may also play as the Fire Nation.
Despite being a fairly enjoyable puzzle/strategy game set in the popular universe, Bobble Battles failed to make an impact on the fandom, nor did the cute style effectively bring these beloved characters to life in a video game format. This PC game stays at the bottom of the pile.

A puzzle-solving title for fans of Avatar Shorts
The Path of Zuko does what it says on the tin, presenting the narrative from Zuko’s perspective and following the events that take place in Book Three entirely. Avatar Aang unites with Zuko to take down the Fire Nation, collecting objects along the way to aid their plight and keep Zuko on his titular path to righteousness.
Even though The Path of Zuko uses the same chibi style as Bobble Battles, the story that accompanies gameplay is more refined, and therefore, more investable. This PC puzzle game beats the latter narratively and stylistically thanks to the pixel art, and there’s also a minigame that restores Zuko’s chi to seal the deal.

A 4.0 Metacritic user score keeps this title in the low ranks
Created as a sequel to the first Avatar: The Last Airbender game from 2006, The Burning Earth covers the events of the show’s second season, Book Two: Earth. This sequel shed the cell-shaded animation, added a host of new combos and characters, and delivered a decent platforming adventure for fans.

The Burning Earth was slammed for its cutscenes and generic gameplay, but as an overall Avatar game, the design is much closer to the original animation than the aforementioned chibi games, justifying its higher place in the ranking. Its tendency to lean on button-mashing, however, keeps this entry near the bottom.

Metacritic’s 4.3 user score gives this action-adventure game the edge over The Burning Fire
The most recent Avatar game to release on this list is Quest for Balance, which only hit shelves in September 2023. Including expansive exploration and memorable interactions with popular characters from the franchise alongside theclassic puzzle solving, perhaps this particular quest got a lower rating for labeling the mechanist as the “machinist” - this is not Christian Bale’s spotlight.
Regardless of the current-gen graphics (the visuals are still not good enough for some), Quest for Balance, once again, failed to deliver anything revolutionary for fans of the series and stays in the lower ranks despite being a modern title. It does stand head and shoulders above previous entries, however, for encouraging innovative thinking and offering challenging puzzles for all audiences - unlike the simpler conundrums that came before.

M. Night Shyamalan’s 2010 live-action was kicked to the curb by fans of the original series, and the production wasn’t well received by newcomers either. It’s therefore surprising that the game based on the adaptation received a more positive reception for both its interactive Wii version and the original release on the Nintendo DS.
When it comes to learning the elements and bringing these movements to life through the Wii Remote, it’s a real novelty for fans. The RPG elements and well-designed action and puzzle-based levels are also particularly impressive to note, leaving previous entries in the forgettable realm, unfortunately.

A vibrant mobile game reminiscent ofGenshin Impact
This tactical RPG was released globally for iOS and Android in early 2023 but was sadly shut down the following December. It’s a shame the mobile title didn’t last because the artwork was visually stunning and the global leaderboard forturn-based gameplayinside PVP battles was pretty thrilling for fans.
This “Gacha” game is deserving of a place in the high ranks, even though its longevity was short-lived. Clean graphics, satisfying team building with iconic characters, and its bravery to weave unique stories into the existing lore make this title a memorable one and distinctly more entertaining than the game adaptation of Shyamalan’s film.

The first of its kind is usually the more memorable, and in the case of Avatar’s video game history, the original 2006 entry is one of the best. Fans may remember that this 2008 action-adventure entry was released on the Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, and Nintendo Wii, all yielding different gameplay styles. Once again based on Book Three of the original series, Into the Inferno had the bravery to turn Momo into a talking samurai and still produced a short and sweet finale to the original trilogy.
Delivering the high-octane conclusion of the Avatar story, Into the Inferno allows stunning combos and flexible attack strategies to be deployed that will make any fan giddy, and even though the cartoon-like visuals are not for everyone, this entry is stellar. There are even additional platforming sections that bulk out the game tenfold more than other entries on this list, making it a solid second place.

The Legend of Korra is the sequel story to Avatar: The Last Airbender, and the game based around this successor is a fun and fluid entry into the greater Avatar game roster. Prioritizing exhilarating action, this game makes players feel as powerful as the benders - which is an important quality to have for optimum immersion.
