The Warbond featured three new primary weapons but unfortunately, they were underpowered. Overall, the Warbond was a huge letdown and players have made it clear on social media that Arrowhead should add new gear, weapons, and Stratagems if they want to save the game from dying.
One player directly approached Johan Pilestedt, former CEO of Arrowhead, to talk about the Warbond, and it seems like Pilestedt is aware of this problem. Recently, Pilestedt announced that he is stepping down as the CEO of Arrowhead but his new position in the company, Chief Creative Officer, will allow him to focus more on the company’s games, particularlyHelldivers 2.

First, the player highlighted that armors should have actual interesting stats as most of them are just copies. Second, the player pointed out that all the weapons in the Polar Patriots Warbond were mediocre, except the G-13 Incendiary Impact grenade. Lastly, the player asked if the Automatons and Terminids would attack other planets instead of moving in a straight line.

Johan Pilestedt is no longer the CEO of Arrowhead Game Studios
Pilestedt recently announced onXthat he is stepping down as the CEO of Arrowhead Game Studios. Shams Jorjani took over his position at the studios, while Pilestedt has taken the position of Chief Creative Officer. This is good news for the fans as this new position will allow Pilestedt to spend more time with the creative team and focus more on Arrowhead’s video games.
