Epic Games Store’s free game of the day for December 18 isSable, an open-world exploration adventure featuring desert ruins and hoverbiking action. Gamers wishing to pick it up for free must download the game from its pageon Epic Games Storewithin the 24-hour offering window before Epic moves onto its next free game for December.
The gaming platform announced on December 15 that it would be giving away afree game every daythrough the end of the year, though it isn’t announcing what the free titles will be ahead of time. Its owners are running the free games offer alongside its annual December Holiday Sale. So far,Bloons TD6andCostume Questhave already come and gone from the rotation.

Developed byShedworksand published byRaw Fury, Sable places players into the role of a young girl named Sable from a clan of desert nomads, racing across her alien planet’s landscape on her hover bike and solving a variety of puzzles and platforming challenges, all while embarking on a quest of self discovery. The game first launched in September of last year for Xbox consoles and PC, but the family-friendly title only because available to PlayStation 5 players a few weeks ago with an end-of-November port.
