Over the two years sinceElden Ring’s release, challenge runners have done everything they can to crank up the difficulty. From restricting the usage of healing items to completely randomizing the world, you’d be hard-pressed to find some variation of a challenge that hasn’t been attempted.

Elden Ring’s Malenia is no match for Morse!

It’s gotten to the point that people are thinking outside the box. UsingGuitar Herocontrollers, flutes, and even Morse Code! A streamer completed the game using the last option in that list and, when taunted by none other than Elon Musk, revealed his true power level.

Streamer Beats Elden Ring’s Toughest Boss with Dots and Dashes

Elon Musk is known for a lot of things, and his gaming inclination features somewhere on that list. We say somewhere because he doesn’t have the best track record. The billionaire has previously been mocked for his questionableElden Ringbuild. That doesn’t stop him from throwing his weight around, but one streamer had an epic reply.

Hidetaka Miyazaki Confirms Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree Came to Fruition Due to 1 Reason that is Rampant in the Gaming Industry

This streamer is Silithur, who posts gaming content on YouTube and Twitch. He recently beatElden Ringin a very unique manner: using Morse Code. Through the historic messaging system, Silithur took down FromSoftware’s latest title with a single button. When a clip of him beating the Elden Beast made it to X, Elon Musk chimed in with his opinion.

The final battle is beautiful, but easy.

It’s all about the skill, not the set up.

According to him, theElden Beast is a beautiful but easy battle. He goes on to challenge the streamer to take on a real challenge, such as similarly beating Malenia. This would have been a fine challenge to announce if it wasn’t for Silithur already having completed it! The streamer uploaded a 4-minute, 20-second clip of him taking down the Goddess of Rot using just Morse Code.

Hidetaka Miyazaki: George RR Martin “Hasn’t written anything exclusively and new for the sake of” Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC

— Silithur (@Silithur)July 29, 2025

All the controls in the game, from attacks to even directional changes, are controlled by a single button. Silithur is using the Blasphemous Blade, as the Taker’s Flame skill offers a great deal of damage and wide AOE, which is useful for Malenia’s quick moves.

Now, the man has not taken on a challenge run himself. But he did show everyone his character when the game was first released. Where many saw a terribly optimized build, one challenge runner saw the potential for content. Thus, they took it upon themselvesto beat Malenia using Musk’s build, something we aren’t sure the CEO himself has managed to do.

WithShadow of the Erdtreeinching closer to release, we can expect to see even more challenge runs. Miyazaki has confirmed that there are some enemies in the expansion who are tuned similarly to Malenia. Thankfully, they are optional bosses but mandatory for any challenge runner worth their salt.

Given that the DLC can only be accessed once the player has beaten Mohg, we can expect late-game levels of difficulty for most of the enemies. Following in the footsteps of Miquella, we are sure to run into some challenging foes, so brushing up on your dodging is of utmost importance.

Gaming was one of my earliest passions then along came writing, and here we are. I’ve been in the content creation space for several years now and as gamer for even longer. From understanding the complexities of a multilayer narrative to the simply joy of “big gun go boom”, my goal is to capture all the emotions in between and put them down in an engaging manner.
