The 1.02 patch for Elden Ring Nightreign is set to add a two player mode, as the game only allowed three players or solo at launch. Fans had been requesting a Duos mode since before launch, but FromSoftware was initially onlytoying with the ideaof including it.

Following the release of atwo player Elden Ring Nightreign mod, FromSoftware confirmed that it would officially become a feature in the 1.02 patch, which was initially planned to launch on July 30. However, recent events have prompted this patch to be delayed, as outlined in a post on the official Elden Ring Twitter/X account.

Elden Ring Nightreign’s Duos Patch Has Been Pushed Back A Day

According to FromSoftware, the patch 1.02 update for Elden Ring Nightreign will launch on July 31 at 10:00 CEST/1:00 PDT. This is due to the tsunami warnings following the earthquake in the Kamchatka Peninsula. Thesecond cycle of the Everdark Sovereignhas also been delayed to match the release of the patch.

The earthquake that struck Russia is said to be one of the biggest in the country’s history, prompting massive waves that have reached Hawaii, California, and Japan. Mass evacuations are happening in coastal areas in these regions.
