Elden Ring Is Going Monster Hunter
What’s most shocking about Elden Ring Nightreign is that the series isleaning into the multiplayer, with combat that looks straight out of the Monster Hunter franchise.
The question now is which side it leans closer to, Elden Ring or Monster Hunter? The trailer didn’t fully show one over the other, though the officialFromSoftware Twitter/Xaccount has called it an action survival game.
A Bandai Namco press release has confirmed that Elden Ring Nightreign is set in an alternate timeline from the original game and will involve players choosing from eight different characters as the map slowly shrinks over a three-day and night cycle. The ultimate goal is to defeat a new foe, known as the Nightlord.
