TheElden RingDLC update is finally here after almost a year after it was initially announced. The latest update from Bandai Namco on X has already amassed over 14 million views. The announcement stated that the first trailer forShadow of the Erdtreewill be released on June 29, 2025.
This led to a full-scale meltdown amongst fans as they clamored for more information. The officialElden Ringaccount on X commented on their own post to give fans some added information regarding what to expect in the trailer launch.
Elden Ringhad previously had one DLC back in December 2022. Later next year in February, FromSoftware announced thatShadow of the ErdtreeDLC is in the works. Now, after almost a year of no updates, the first trailer announcement has led to a major fan frenzy.

For about a year, fans have been eagerly waiting for news and updates from Hidetaka Miyazaki and his team regarding theElden RingDLC. But, FromSoftware kept their cards close to their chests with little to no official information regarding the DLC being available for gamers.

Now with the official post from theElden Ringaccount on X, fans can finally rest knowing they will get to learn something soon.

So far there has been no news regarding the launch of the DLC. But that can all be set to change with the release of the first trailer of the much-awaitedElden RingDLC.
