Dragon’s Dogma 2: How To Summon A Friend’s Pawn
Summoning Pawns is a key part of Dragon’s Dogma 2. If you want to have even more fun, summon a friend’s Pawn directly!
One of the more valuable lootable items you find in DD2 are precious stones. These include Jasper, Onyx, and Tiger’s Eye. They go for quite a lot, earning you 800 Gold Coins for each stone, but they can go for even higher if you know where to sell them.

Dragon’s Dogma 2
Jasper is a precious stonethat you can find from the corpses of a lot of different enemies. It doesn’t have a high drop rate so you won’t encounter it too much, but certain enemies are more likely to yield the stone than others.Succubi, elites of the harpy mobs, have the highest drop rate for the gem,10%. Crows, Scavengers, Griffins, and Minotaurs give you between a 0.4 - 5% chance of dropping the precious stone as well.
The most efficient way to farm for Jasper is to look for harpies, and kill their leaders, the Succubi, as often as possible. You may also find the stone scattered around various parts of the world in chests and on the bodies of bandits.

Selling the stone will give the player a whopping800 Goldin most locations, but it’s especially rare in Battahl. That’s why it goes for2800 Goldin that region. Make sure you only sell Jasper in Battahl to maximize the profits you make from it. You might get a couple of them at the start of the game, but it’s better to save them until you visit Battahl later in the game and make a better profit.
Onyx is a black stone that is a lot easier to farm than Jasper, but can be sold for a similarly high price. A lot of different monsters can drop onyx, one ofthe most common ones being Goblins. However, the drop rate of Goblins for Onyx is fairly low, making them a very inefficient enemy to farm for the gem. Instead, you should loot as manyHarpiesas possible for Onyx, since they have an incredible20% chanceof dropping the item.

Where Jasper is expensive in Battahl, Onyx is ascarcity in Vermund. It might not make a lot of sense considering how many harpies there are in the region, but who are we to question the wide scale economics of Dragon’s Dogma 2? You can sell Onyx in Vermund for2400 Gold, but it goes for 800 in any other location.
Tiger’s Eye
Like the other precious stones, Tiger’s Eye is most easily found from a variant of the Harpy monster, the Gore Harpies. These monsters have a20% chanceof dropping the Tiger’s Eye, making them a great target for farming the material.
After traversing far and wide, the player will come acrossthe hidden enclaves of the elves, Sacred Arbor. You’ll want to have a pawn that knows elvish in your party to interact with the NPCs there, but that’s not a requirement to buy and sell items in the grove. Go over to the vendor shown on your minimap, and sell Tiger’s Eye to her for2700 Gold.
