Vocations determine the weapons, skills, armor, and overall play style of a character in Dragon’s Dogma 2; here are all ten vocations, ranked.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a long game, but Disa’s Plot will be one of the earlier main quests. Luckily, this is not a combat-heavy mission, so you won’t need to haveranked up your Vocations, nor will you need to have gone and obtainedthe best early-game gear and weapons.

Meet With Captain Brant

to progress through this quest, you willfirst need to meet with Captain Brant. You will be able to find this NPC by heading over to Vernworth and going into the Stardrop Inn. You will not be able to do this at any time of day andmight need toprogress the in-game timeto the right moment— which will be nighttime. During this time, you may speak with Captain Brant. Making your way through his dialog options will present you with “Tell me of the queen regent” which you will need to select to receive your first objective in this quest.

Search For Evidence Of Disa’s Misdeeds

This next part will require the time to bebetween midnight and dawn,so you will need to progress time again if you have been occupied with other tasks. Once you get close to your destination, a dialog will trigger with theNPC known as Sonia. She will instruct you to follow her to progress with the quest. She will come to a halt at some stairs with a door at the top and tell you to move along. It is also worth noting thatthis area has Restricted Entry in place.

There are some locations that are entirely off-limits, and others you will only be permitted entry at specific times of day. For instance, if a guard catches you on the palace grounds at night, you will be apprehended and thrown in the goal for trespassing. There are also certain locations that forbid pawns from entering the premises altogether.

Alternatively, you may head to these stairs from the back of the castle if you prefer the sneaky and explorative approach to playing games, but don’t forget you are on a time limit until the sun comes up.

Head up the stairs and through the door. Inside will be achest with Guard attire, putting on this armor is not required to go about undetected. Make your way through the other door connecting to this room and turn right tosee an open archway you can pass through.You will see another one of these archways straight ahead. Go through the archway like you did with the first one, and then againthrough a third archwayto find a flight of stairs going up.

Head up both flights of stairs, and you willnow be on the floor with the quest marker. Go straight to move through some more archways into a large room. You will find an open archway on theleft side of this room. Follow the wall on your right, and you will find a door that opens into Vernworth Castle Offices.Pick up the Torn Letteryou find on the desk.

Report Back To Captain Brant

Once you have the note, an NPC named Sven will come through the door. Make your way through the dialog options, and you will hear the voices of some guards. You will be able toleave the room through the window next to the desk where you found the letter. It is slightly ajar and the curtain will be moving. Once you go out the window, you will be able to drop lower and lower from the Castle’s roofing until you are back safely on the ground.

Make your way back to Captain Brant andspeak with him to complete the final stages of this quest. During your dialog, you will be able to deliver the Torn Letter to Captain Brant. This will wrap up this main quest and give you some rewards.
